Jean Paul Gaultier at the Brooklyn Museum

He was the hottest designer of my 1990's.  Starting tomorrow, the Brooklyn Museum presents The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From Sidewalk to Catwalk.  I am absolutely excited about this, as I was unable to see the exhibit in Montreal.

The Brooklyn Museum is the only American East Coast venue for this show.  It will feature sketches, Haute Couture, documentaries and all sorts of artifacts of his creative process and wicked humor.  He defined Madonna's look of the 90's as well as contributing subversive looks for movies.
