Wednesday evening, the Judith Leiber boutique hosted a benefit for the Wildlife Conservation Society. The event invited "Birds and Blokes" for an opportunity to shop one of the 100 Judith Leiber bags priced at $100. Headquartered at the Bronx zoo, the WCS conservation specialists lead the efforts to save wildlife and wild places around the world.
Elegantly dressed guests struggled to contain themselves as they stalked each other for their favorite jeweled clutch. Women held onto their prize bag as if it was the Holy grail, while one friend grabbed another in a big hug when she presented her with one of the last available purses.
Among glasses of champagne and mini lobster rolls, the rest of the Judith Leiber collection was on display. Her signature jeweled box bags, delicately crystallized animals and accessories graced display cases. My favorite pieces were the richly embellished fur stoles. The luxurious furs were embroidered with chunky patterns of Swarovski crystals and caused me to drool...

the hundred dollars are worth it. Look at the bag..For me I guess the price is fair enough and for sure many people went there. I hope I was there to buy one. :) thanks for sharing
