Fans Kate Mara and Chloe Moretz carried some of Coach's new Rhyder messenger bags and fringe cross-body bag while they chatted with friend Keri Russell. New creative director Stuart Vevers mingled with many of the longtime supporters of the brand.
It was a great partnership to support non-profit group Friends of the High Line who were behind the building of Manhattan's coolest public park... The new Coach headquarters are close neighbors. In a company of jaded fashion industry vets, I have never seen a crew so excited about moving thei offices.
Chloe Sevigny wore the red and black houndstooth silk dress for the upcoming fall season that I loved when working on it in development a few months ago. That collection changed up my idea of what Coach sportswear could be. It was a modern twist on classic patterns and shapes. Actually, that sentence pretty much sums up all the cool things they are doing across the entire company.
Shout-out to the ladies in technical design!
