You have to be at least 21 and actually have true design chops to compete. The application process alone requires sketches, photos of your collection that you have actually made and produced, close-up images that showcase expert details you are capable of like embroidery and pleating, and even your patterns ! You need to also submit a video showcasing yourself in your most dynamic light.
Make no mistake, Rihanna and team are taking this very seriously, and you had better be too if you hope to compete.
