I don't go to the ballet nearly enough. The last few performance of the National Ballet of Canada's gorgeous production of Alice in Wonderland are in full swing. Unfortunately, I won't make it back to Toronto in time. I must jealously envy my sister who will see it again this week.
Costume and set designer Bob Crowley has created a vivid fantasy of witty, elaborate costumes and dramatic, twisted sets. Growing up watching productions from the National Ballet, I can only assume the choreography (by Christopher Wheeldon) and dancing are as spectacular as ever.
If you are lucky enough to be in the city of Toronto before its last performance November 25th, 2012 , buy tickets NOW.
